Tab L. Uno, a first-time author at the age of 67, brings a wealth of diverse experiences and a deep passion for science fiction literature. Having read and compiled a remarkable collection of over 300 sci-fi paperbacks from the 60s and 70s, Mr. Uno’s extensive knowledge of the genre shines through his writing. In addition to his literary pursuits, he is an active contributor to the film community, offering insightful commentary on IMDb with over 1,600 movie reviews.

Originally from Utah, Mr. Uno enjoyed a fulfilling career as a licensed clinical social worker for 19 years before retiring. His personal background holds a significant historical context as his parents were interned as Japanese Americans during World War II. Remarkably, his father made history by becoming the first minority judge in the State of Utah. Furthermore, his mother shared her own internment camp experience through her published work, “Gasa Gasa Girl Goes to Camp.”
